Submission Rules

Sat Jan 13, 2007, 1:08 PM
Every club member is allowed to submit a deviation to the club gallery once a month. To submit a deviation, you must send a note to ~GayBiTeens with the subject "Month Submission" (Ex: January Submission). To conform to deviantArt rules and policies, you must give us written persmission in your note for ~GayBiTeens to use your deviation. This means that you must write something to the extent of "I, devname, give ~GayBiTeens permission to use my deviation - InsertLinkToDeviation - in their gallery."

It is important to remember to NOT favorite any of the deviations in the club gallery. We want our members to receive the credit for the deviations, not the club.

The official chat of GayBiTeens is #GayBiTeens [link]

The Rules:

Keep the profanity to a minimal.

While a small amount of profanity will be tolerated, excessive amounts will not be. This is a teen-oriented chat, and we want to keep it suitable for teenagers.

Be polite.

Most of the people who go into #GayBiTeens are there to have a good time. No one there wants or deserves to be treated poorly, and the Moderators will try their best to keep it a safe place for everyone.

Respect the various groups.

In #GayBiTeens there are several different groups which all serve different purposes. Respect each and every one of them.

Keep an open mind.

Everyone is different. There are no two people on this planet that are exactly the same. Also, since #GayBiTeens is a worldwide chat with people from many different orientations and backgrounds - not everyone is going to see eye to eye on every issue.

No harassment.

Definition of harassment: To impede and exhaust (another member of the chat) by repeated attacks or comments along the same topic beyond their requesting it be stopped.

Keep private and personal matters out of the chat.

That means private discussions, arguments, & fighting. If it is exclusively between you and one other member of the chat, it probably shouldn't be there. So, either take it elsewhere or risk being kicked and/or banned.

English only.

The majority of people that come onto dA speak English. Therefore, the only language that needs to be spoken in the chat is English. It is rude to speak in front of another person a langauge that they do not understand, and many of the members only speak English. Therefore, please keep all conversations, comments, suggestions, ramblings, etc. in English.

No spamming.

Spam includes, but is not limited to elongated words (Ex. "oooooooooooooooooooooooooooohh"), useless posts, unneeded use of bolding, and repetitive posting.

No flaming.

The definition of flaming: to insult or criticize angrily. Anyone in the chat found flaming shall be punished as the Moderator(s) sees fit at the time.

No cybering.

This should be self-explanatory. There shall be no role playing or online sex in GayBiTeens.

No bashing of other chatrooms.

Not everyone is going to get along with everyone else. However, in order to maintain a certain level of order in the chatroom, no bashing of other chatrooms will be tolerated. If you have a problem with another chat, talk to the moderators in that chat.

Promotions:

If you would like to be promoted to Operators in the chat, send a note to ~Un-Heard specifying which group you would like to be promoted to and why you feel you should be promoted to that position. Asking to become promoted in the chat or asking how to become promoted will result in an automatic kick.

The appeal process:

If you feel that you were unfairly banned or kicked by a member of the chat, copy the screen (by using the Prt Scrn button on your keyboard and pasting it into MS Paint or any other imaging program and uploading it to your Scrapbook) and send a note to ~Un-Heard containing both a link to the screen print and a description of what happened. If you are found to be the victim of unfair abuse of power, reprimands shall be taken out and you will be unbanned and/or apologized to.
